Layvin Kurzawa:Arsenal have been given the green light to sign Layvin Kurzawa this summer after the full-back told Monaco he wants to leave.

Despite having Kieran Gibbs and Nacho Monreal on his books, It’s understood Arsene Wenger is keen on the 22-year-old and reports in France also suggests the attacking left-back is set for a move away from Monaco.

Kurzawa has been in impressive form for Monaco this season, making 36 appearances in all competitions thus far, and played against the Gunners in the Champions League this term as well.

But the France international is thought to want a new challenge and has decided his time at Monaco is up – even though he still has three-years left to run on his current deal

It’s believed Arsenal will take their interest further when the summer transfer window opens, but will face competition from the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich for Kurzawa’s signature.

Valued at £7 million by Transfermarkt, the Gunners will spend no more than £15 million to land Kurzawa.
