Paulo DybalaArsenal are edging closer to the signing of Argentine striker Paulo Dybala with the Gunners set to hold talks with Palermo’s president over a potential summer move.

Despite interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona, Arsenal are leading the race for Dybala’s signature reports the Metro, and Palermo are supposedly ready to sell the in-demand forward at the end of the season with the representatives of the North London club meeting Maurizio Zamparini in London sometime this week to thrash out a deal.

The highly-rated 21-year-old still has 18 months left to run on his current deal at Palermo, and although the Serie A club are keen to keep hold of their prized asset, they would find it hard to turn down a good offer.

Reports suggest Dybala is valued at around the £30 million mark and should Arsenal seal this transfer then it would be regarded as a coup, with the striker netting 11 goals and contributing seven assists in 23 Serie A appearances so far this season.
