Mirko Vucinic will not be joining Arsenal on loan this month, according to the player’s agent.
Arsenal have been linked with a number of forwards in the past month or so and it was suggested that the Gunners were closing in on a loan deal for the 30-year-old Montenegrin.
However, Vucinic’s representative, Alessandro Lucci has revealed the Juve man wants to stay at the Turin club – even if they sign another forward or not.
When asked if Vucinic was set to join Arsenal on loan for the remainder of the season, Lucci said:
‘There is no chance that Vucinic will join Arsenal. He has decided to remain with Juventus.’
I think we knew this was coming to be honest, but I’m not unhappy to hear that Vucinic will not be joining us as I don’t really rate him.
With only one day left to go before the January transfer window shut I’m sure many of us believe Arsene Wenger will not be bringing in any new faces.
Hopefully Le Boss does, but it looks unlikely.
