PSV and Twente keen on Arsenal youngster

|

Kyle EbecilioTalkSPORT.com reports PSV and Twente are interested in signing Arsenal starlet Kyle Ebelcilio in the summer.

The 19-year-old midfielder arrived at The Emirates from Feyenoord in 2010 but has yet to feature in the Arsenal first-team; instead the young Dutchman has developed his game in the Under-18 and reserve side for the north London club, and it is thought he is eager for first-team opportunities.

Ebelcilio is on a youth contract at Arsenal which expires at the end of the season, meaning he could leave on a free in the summer, although it is believed that a one-year extension is on the table for him after an impressive season under Terry Burton.

Although he has had an inspiring year in the second string side, making 16 appearances, I believe Ebelicio needs more time to nurture his talent.

I for one can’t see him featuring for the first-team anytime soon, so I think it would be best for him to seal a loan deal away from the club next season, if of course he decides to sign a new deal at The Emirates.
