Arsenal target to decide future in the summer

|

JoveticReports in Italy claim Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic will decide his future at the end of the season.

The Gunners were linked with an alleged £20 million bid for the 23-year-old during the January transfer window, but the Montenegro striker quashed these rumours by deciding to remain at Fiorentina.

Jovetic, who has won 20 caps for Montenegro, has been in impressive form for the Florence club this season, netting 11 goals in 23 appearances in all competitions.

His performances this term will not go unnoticed and as such Jovetic will draw attention from several clubs around Europe this summer, including Manchester City, Juventus and of course Arsenal.

But Fiorentina are eager to keep hold of the skilful forward and are reportedly considering offering their star man a new contract until 2017.

Corriere dello Sport reckon Jovetic will decide whether to continue to play in Italy – either at Fiorentina or Juventus – or move abroad at the end of the season.

If indeed Jovetic decides to leave Fiorentina and Arsenal want to sign him then it is vital that we finish in the top four this season. If we don’t, then he is bound to join a club that would offer Champions League football.
