I assume you did not need OPTA’s help in adding up
    point 1. last 11 games (won 6, drawn 6 & lost 1)!!!

  • JOEL says:

    1) Both sides have sufferered from inconsistent form over the last few seasons.
2)Both clubs have wasted money in recent seasons bringing the wrong players into their squads.(Although each side has got it right on occasion!)
3)Both teams have wasted money paying salaries to players who are thoroughly undeserving of this amount of reward.
4)Both Managers struggle to motivate their 2nd string players sufficiently when they are given opportunities to play (see point 2)
5)Both Managers seem to view certain “favourites” through rose coloured spectacles.
6)Neither team is likely to resurrect past glories under current Management (although Liverpool seem to be showing greater signs of improvement of late-with the obvious exception of the Oldham game).
7)Both sides are capable of winning or losing this fixture.
8)Whatever the result tonight neither side is likely to gain a top four finish at the expense of one of their near neighbours.
9)Arsenal could change points 1-8 if they changed the Management structure at all levels within the club!!!
