wants to sign Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.

Cazorla, who joined in the summer and bagged his first Premier League hat-trick on Monday night against Reading, has arguably been the signing of the season thus far and would like to see his fellow Spaniard at next season, according to the Daily Express.

Llorente’s contract at Athletic Bilbao expires in the summer and has yet to agree new terms with the club, leading many to believe he is on his way out of the San Mames at the end of the current campaign.

The 27-year-old, who can be acquired for as little as £6 million, if reports are to be believed, has already expressed an interest in a move to in the near future.

He was quoted in the Telegraph a few days ago saying:

‘I really like the Premier League and I’ve mentioned on more than one occasion that it’s a league which appeals to me a lot.

‘You never know. It’s one good option in terms of my future but we’ll have to wait until the end of the season to see what happens.

‘It is true that we are approaching the date when I can sign for other clubs.’

But Bilbao president Josu Urruita has already ruled out a January move, stating Llorente ‘will stay with us until the end of the season.’

Since breaking through the Bilbao first-team in 2005, the Spain international has netted 106 goals in 293 appearances in all competitions, and could well possibly join Cazorla at if Arsene Wenger is indeed interest in the powerful forward and can fend off the competition this summer.
