Manchester City, Spurs and Arsenal are all reportedly interested in Miralem Pjanic.

However, despite the 22-year-old being flattered by the interest shown in him, the midfielder remains fully focused on Roma.

The Bosnian star was tipped to make a move to Spurs in the summer, but he decided to stay in Italy with the Giallorossi.

But he has struggled to cement a first-team place under new boss Zdenek Zeman this season, leaving the Bosnia and Herzegovina international’s future in doubt at the Stadio Olimpico.

The aforementioned clubs have all been thought to be tracking Pjanic since his days at former club Lyon, but, for now, he wants to stay at Roma.

Quoted on talkSPORT.com, he said:

‘I have to admit it’s nice when your name is linked with big clubs in Europe.

‘At the moment, I do not want to think about possible future destinations, I am exclusively focused on my job at Roma.’

Despite being a very technically gifted player, with great skill and vision, I don’t believe Arsenal are in need of a player like this, not anymore.

With Jack Wilshere back in the frame and Santi Cazorla operating behind the striker, I honestly believe we have enough vision, technical ability and skill in our side.

I can’t see Arsene Wenger signing another midfielder in January, no matter how good they may be.

More of a rumour than anything else I reckon.
