Supporting Arsenal is not for the faint-hearted! One minute you are leading by a two-goal lead, and then within in a space of two minutes, your opponents have either equalised or taken a lead.

Needless to say, it was another lacklustre performance from Arsenal, coupled with a lot of defensive errors. I still don’t understand how Mikel Arteta deliberately fouled someone in the box to hand them a penalty – I didn’t expect that from him. Plus, Laurent Koscienly was behind him, he would have made it hard for Bryan Ruiz to shoot.

Speaking of Koscienly, I feel he played very well. He made some crucial tackles to deny Dimitar Berbatov a one-on-one situation with Vito Mannone, and looked like he was finding his best form again. In my opinion, the French defender deserves a starting berth alongside Per Mertesacker.

Our major problem is our inability to defend – everybody can see the way Arteta is struggling to play as our defensive midfielder. Our back-line played well, but our problem starts from the midfield. Even Le Prof admitted that he took a gamble by not replacing Alex Song, and instead thinking that Abou Diaby will replace him.

How about we use Aaron Ramsey as a make-weight in luring Marouane Fellaini to Arsenal? I feel the Wales international is just a squad player, nothing more.

So Olivier Giroud scored two headers yesterday, but I’m pretty sure Marouane Chamakh would have done the same. To me, Giroud is just like Chamakh, but the former can use his legs!

Manchester United signed Robin van Persie from us, why can’t we try and lure Jermain Defoe from Spurs?

To sum up, our major problem lies in midfield – we don’t have a natural anchorman in it. We also need a striker that can work his socks off and is technically good. We have a big enough squad but not enough quality. We need some major reinforcement in January or it could be a very long season for us.
