Just few days after his close friend Jack Wilshere restated his love for Arsenal, Emmanuel Frimpong has also pledged his commitment to the club.

The 20-year-old, who recently returned to action following a long spell on the sidelines, has claimed – through his twitter account – how committed he is to The Gunners, amidst rumour linking him with a move away from The Emirates when apparently his contract expires next summer.

The combative midfielder ruptured a cruciate ligament in his right knee while on loan at Wolves in February which led to his immediate return to Arsenal, as his injury would rule him out for the rest of the season.

However, with no news of a new contract talk there have been a recent series of transfer rumours linking the Ghanaian away from Arsenal, and Wolves are considered to be frontrunners for his signature.

But the DENCH-master expressed his desire to stay at Arsenal and set the record straight on his future.

He wrote on Twitter:

‘Subject to rumours am not leaving afc I am positive of going on loan this week which am really excited about and I am fully committed to afc. (sic).

‘And am not in my last year or looking to be sold just to clear matters thank you and going on loan to get games and come back to arsenal.’
