Arsenal want another ‘Verminator’

When it seems everything is okay, there will always be yet at least one more deficiency within the Arsenal squad.

The Gunners never looked short of players in any department except of course the centre forward role this season and, as a result, have been heavily linked with numerous strikers ahead of the winter transfer window.

But recent transfer rumours regarding Arsenal have gone in a new direction.

The North London club have already been linked with four different goalkeepers in as many days, with the latest report from The Sun suggesting The Gunners are interested in signing Ajax shot-stopper Kenneth Vermeer.

The Holland International was apparently scouted by one of Wenger’s men while he made his national debut in last week’s 0-0 draw with Germany in Amsterdam, and has been in an impressive form for The Eredivisie this season.

This link, however, looks pretty genuine and could possibly happen, considering the fact that the 26-year-old is valued at around £5million which is very much within Wenger’s transfer reach.

Expect this link to gain more ground in January.
