Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Leicester City’s Liam Moore, after sending scouts to watch the youngster over the weekend.

The Metro claims The Gunners have joined Manchester United in the race to sign the 19-year-old, who is seen as one of the brightest young defenders outside the Premier League.

Moore spent the first-half of last season out on loan at Bradford City, playing 22 times for the League Two club, and following an impressive spell with Phil Parkinson’s club, the right-back, who can also be used as a centre-half, has played in every game for The Foxes so far this year and has supposedly been watched by representatives of Tottenham, Everton, Aston Villa and Man United.

Arsenal are now among the clubs watching Moore and scouted the promising defender during Saturday’s 1-0 win over Blackpool.

Apparently Leicester value the strong, versatile defender at around £5 million and could consider selling the England Under-19 international in January.
