Arsenal are reportedly tracking Santos playmaker Paulo Henrique Ganso, but who exactly is he?
Here are 10 things you should know about the 22-year-old Brazilian:
1. Paulo Henrique Ganso or Ganso, which translates to Goose, joined Paysandu at the age of 15, but signed for Santos in 2005.
2. After being sidelined for six months through injury in 2007, Ganso took part and won the U-20 Campeonato Paulista.
3. The attacking midfielder won the 2010 Campeonato Paulista with Santos after beating Santo Andre in the final.
4. He is contracted to the Brazilian club until 2015, with a termination fee of around €50 million (£39m).
5. After being called upon by the Brazilian media for Ganso to be apart of Dunga’s 2010 World Cup squad, primarily as a substitute for Kaka, in early 2010, on the 11th of May in the same year he was named as one of the seven back-up players in Dunga’s 23-man squad.

6. Ganso was called up by new Brazil coach Mano Menezes and made his first international senior appearance in a friendly against USA on the 10th of August 2010.
7. He was named in Menezes 23-man 2011 Copa America squad and was assigned the number 10 shirt.
8. Since 2010, Ganso has been capped eight times by Brazil.
9. Last season, the Brazilian midfielder made a total of 32 appearances for Santos, bagging six goals and four assists along the way.
10. Due to his impressive displays for both club and country, Ganso has been linked with the likes AC Milan, Chelsea and Tottenham.

2. he won’t come to us
3. Wenger will NEVER spend 30 million on one player
4. we cannot afford his wages
5. the board of directors are looking to make money not spend it
6. Wenger will hither and dither for months like he did with Hazard and then Ganso will sign elsewhere
7. Top young Brazilians always sign for the Spanish or Portuguese
8. We cannot compete with the likes of Stoke City and Newcastle for the best players how will we compete with the likes of Real and Barcelona when they come in for him
9. Nothing will happen while the Van Persie situation remains unresolved

Leon, Ganso rejected 28,000 pounds a week if the report above is to be believed. how can it be that Arsenal can afford say 80,000 to 90,000 per week?

@ Leon – you are a tit or a cry baby, so what it’s hard being a gunner, everyone wanting us to fail, teams below us breaking our limbs clubs above cherry picking our team.
We aren’t turbo oil cash charged, we don’t have cities or councils buying, building or generally bank rolling our stadiums.
We haven’t lifted any silverware for seven years, we haven’t competed in a title for five years, haven’t semied in the cl for a few years, true.
But we are gunners, still the pride of london, The invincibles, the swash buckling, buccaneering footballistas of England. Envied across the world, clubs watched thru green eyes what we did, destroyed an unbeatable team and turned that into a stadium.
We have a conveyor belt that breeds talented players and we get to see stars and the blood letting of talent will stop, we will reign supreme again, as the structure we built is bettered only by barca.
The guns will bang again to the tune of silverware, just be patient and we will achieve victory through harmony.

Ganso was acclaimed as the next best thing beside Neymar. They impressed. But, he is injury prone and can operate when given space. Has shown against tougher opposition to shrug out of the game. Recently the old man Riqueme showed how inadequate Ganso was, against clverer and stronger opposition. He will defintely struggle in the EPL.
