2. Mikel Arteta struck a stunning winner in Arsenal’s 1-0 victory over Man City, while Theo Walcott, Robin van Persie and Yossi Benayoun were all on target in a comprehensive 3-0 win over Wolves in their last match.

3. Arteta has scored seven goals this season from 40 attempts at goal, with 63% on target.

4. Walcott is one ahead of the Spanish midfielder with 8 goals this season, from 70 shots at goal with 66% on target, while Van Persie remains the league’s top scorer with 27 goals to his name.

5. Arteta covered the most ground for Arsenal in both of these games, taking his total for the season to 181.74 miles while at Arsenal, and 187 miles in total including his time at Everton, an incredible average of 6.23 miles per game.

6. As well as being the league’s top scorer, Van Persie is en route to being the first player to break the 200 mile barrier, having ran 193.76 miles so far this season.

8. Shaun Maloney scored a brilliant 20-yard winner after the Latics had been unlucky not to take at least a point away from Chelsea over the Easter weekend when Mohamed Diame scored in their 2-1 defeat.

9. Wigan out ran United by 59.02 miles to 57.92 miles in that game, with James McArthur covering the most ground with 6.66 miles.

10. Maloney has scored just twice in nine appearances for Wigan this season, with 80% of shots on target, but will get fewer more important goals in his career.

11. Diame has also concentrated more on defensive work this season, winning 65 tackles, an impressive 83% of all tackles attempted this season.
