Arsenal tell Anderlecht star to improve if he want summer move

|

Arsenal have told Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia that he must improve if he wants to win a move to The Emirates this summer, according to the Metro.

The 26-year-old tenacious midfielder, who was linked with a move to Manchester United and Fiorentina last month, is highly expected to quit Anderlecht at the end of the season, having won six trophies in six years with the Belgian side, while also claiming the Young Player of the Year award in his first campaign at the club.

However, despite the success he has captured over the years, Biglia believes a move away from the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium would enhance his chances of adding to his six caps for Argentina and improve him as a player overall.

The Gunners have been keeping tabs on Biglia for quite sometime now and reports in Belgium are claiming that Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi made contact with Biglia’s agent, Enzo Montepaone, last Thursday, telling Montepaone that his client must improve if Arsenal are to consider making an offer for him in the summer.

Anderlecht have all but resigned to losing Biglia, whose contract doesn’t expire until 2015, by reportedly slapping a £15 million price-tag on his head.
