You’ve been Frimponged!!!

In true Frimpong style, Manu was booked on his debut for Wolves on Saturday.

Obviously, he was booed by the home supporters at Sh!te Hart Lane every time he touched the ball and Scott Parker was the one to feel the full force of Emmanuel’s Arsenal passion, leading to the 30th minute booking.

Emmanuel Frimpong, along with Wolves ‘keeper Wayne Hennessey, performed the heroics for Wolves to prevent the Spuds doing the unthinkable by claiming top spot. Well, second on goal difference, but it’s been that long since the Spuds have been top that they would have proclaimed it as first and released a DVD to commemorate it as well.

Wolves captain Roger Johnson and manager Mick McCarthy were full of praise for Frimpong after the game, with McCarthy describing his loanee ‘a very talented young player’.

Lets hope Frimpong’s loan can be as successful as Jack’s was two years ago and Manu can progress to the player we all hope he will become!

I would hope he continues to feature in there starting XI, he did quite well. His tackling was great and in a year he will hopefully be at the level to back up Song. Coquelin is also looking pretty good so hopefully we’ll see him featuring for Arsenal or being loaned relatively soon
