Young Arsenal midfielder Chuks Aneke will reside at Stevenage until the end of the season, according to talkSPORT.

The 18-year-old joined the League One club back in November on a two-month loan deal and has made 6 appearances for The Boro since.

Aneke, who featured once for the Gunners in the League Cup before leaving for Stevenage, was due back at Arsenal on the 22nd of January. However, Stevenage are eager to keep hold of the youngster until the end of the season and have reportedly asked the north London club whether this is a possibility. This now appears to be the case, as Arsene Wenger has sanctioned the proposed deal, which will see the England Under-19 international remain at the Broadhall Way until May.

As long as he gains first-team experience and plays on a regular basis, remaining at Stevenage for the remainder of the season can only be a good thing for Aneke.
