Adriano Correia is the latest Barcelona player to open his mouth about the Cesc Fabregas saga, claiming it would be a ‘source of happiness’ if the Spaniard were to join the Camp Nou outfit this summer.

The 24-year-old Arsenal captain is again being linked with a move to boyhood club Barcelona, but it finally appears to be nearing a conclusion (thanks goodness).

Reports are suggesting that that the Catalan club are preparing to launch a final take-it-or-leave-it offer worth around £35 million for Cesc, who seems to want a move to back to Spain.

A number of Barca players have already voiced their opinions on the possible transfer throughout the summer, and Adriano has become the latest to have his say on the matter.

Speaking to In Point Press in Miami, the Brazilian left-back said:

‘The issue will probably be closed soon. This is an issue for the club. If he finally came, that would be a source of happiness.’

‘But what we do is business as usual, we will focus on training and playing football. Our job is to keep talking on the field.’

Memo to Wenger, Cesc and all those involved: please just end this ongoing saga ASAP so that we don’t have to hear anymore Barcelona players talking about it…its seriously doing my head in now.

    Come on people, be circumspect.
If you were at Barca and asked about Cesc joining, what would you reply?
“Sorry, i dont think we need him”?
I dont think so. Stop blaming the players and blame the media who ask the players this question.

It is sad on AFC that we let this saga continue for 3 years, if we were tough in the first instance, we would not be in this continuing saga right now. Stop pampering to Cesc and treat him like a footballer who has to follow the rules like all others or suffer.

You now what i have had enough of this Cesc news and im sure we all have but the thing is if he actually goes to barca will he get played often? Hell no coz they need Xavi and Iniesta on the pitch or else Messi is fucked but it will be good for us because our team will be able to concentrate better

so all i have to say is if Cesc wants to make his career go to an end then wenger SELL him!!
