Fitness has been an evident issue for Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky in recent seasons.
His injury problems started way back in 2008, when he picked up a hamstring tendon injury, which unfortunately ruled him out of the entire season. Since then, Rosicky has failed to recapture form, and most importantly, fitness.
So I ask, could a possible loan deal be beneficial for the Czech star this summer?
In the MLS the football season continues throughout the summer, and perhaps game time at a lower level is exactly what Rosicky needs in order to return to gain fitness and sharpness.
One of the clubs who could be involved in such a deal is the New York Red Bulls – a team that is always looking to improve itself.
If the move went through this summer, then the 30-year-old wouldn’t be the only Champions League experienced player within the Red Bulls squad. He would be playing with the likes of former Barcelona player and Champions League winner, Rafael Marquez, and of course Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
A two-month loan deal could potentially revive Rosicky’s career at Arsenal, and possibly, see him returning to the first-team more regularly next season.
Would a loan move be ideal for Rosicky, or is he already doomed for the chop this summer?
