Contract decision crucial to Spanish international’s Arsenal transfer

|

The future of Real Madrid midfielder Isco is very much in the hands of manager Zinedine Zidane, according to Cadena Ser.

The Spanish radio station’s programme El Larguero has reported that the 24 year old will only sign a new contract at the Bernabeu if the Frenchman makes him part of his first team plans on a regular basis.

It seems that the Arsenal target will depart this summer with a year left on his contract if he doesn’t get an indication from Zidane that he is wanted at Real.

The Spanish international has played 24 times in all competitions for Real this season, but he has featured very little in the big games, particularly in the Champions League where he has featured just once against Sporting Lisbon in the group stages of the competition.

Spanish newspaper AS have linked Isco with a move to the Emirates in recent months, as well as to Manchester City.
