Arsenal are extremely interested in signing Malaga midfielder Pablo Fornals, according to Marca.

The Spanish newspaper report that Gunners scouts have been writing positive reports about the 21 year old over the past few months, and he would very much fit into Arsene Wenger’s philosophy of bringing in exciting young talent.

Marca say that Fornals buyout clause is only between €10-12million or £8.5million to £10million, and that Malaga will find it very hard to keep the Spanish international this summer.

The midfielder has had an excellent season, and 20 appearances in all competitions, he has scored four goals and provided two assists. He made his debut for the Spain senior side back in May in a friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina before Euro 2016.

He hasn’t been included in a squad since then but he is seen as one of La Liga’s hottest young properties, which Arsenal seem keen on snapping up if the Spanish press are to be believed.
