Napoli are planning to hold talks with reported Arsenal target Lorenzo Insigne and his agent over a new deal, amid interest from several European clubs.

The 25-year-old Italian has been linked with the likes of Arsenal, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool and Roma all believed to be interested in his services.

However, according to RAI Sport (via Transfermarketweb.com) the Naples club want to negotiate a contract extension for the tricky winger after the first-leg of their Champions League Round 16 encounter with Real Madrid in mid-February.

Insigne still has two-and-a-half-years left on his current contract at Napoli, but it’s understood that he has put talks on hold, albeit interest shown in him.

Napoli will be reluctant to sell, but if the Italy international is unwilling to commit his future to the club then they may be prepared to sell him for the right price, that reportedly being between £20-30 million depending on what you read.
