Juventus could be set to rival Arsenal and Manchester United to the signing of Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, reports calciomercato.it.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for the Serbian Under-21 international in the past but when asked by Sky Sport Italia (translated by talkSPORT) about rumours that a move to Juve could be on the cards, the 21-year-old said he had not heard anything about links to the Bianconeri but would like to remain in Italy if a move does happen:

“Juventus? It’s just speculation. The same goes to any move to La Liga. I prefer Serie A.”

Milinkovic-Savic’s mention of La Liga is due to the fact he was actually born in Spain, although he has never played in the country, and has opted to play for the country of of his parents at youth level.

The midfielder has had a good start to the 2016/17 season with Lazio and in 16 appearances this campaign in Serie A, he has scored three goals and provided four assists for his team mates.
