Arsene Wenger will not make any major signings in the January transfer window, according to Matt Law in the Daily Telegraph.

The long-term injury to Santi Cazorla had prompted speculation that the Gunners would delve into the market next month in order to strengthen the squad for a run at the Premier League title.

It seems however that the Arsenal boss is content with the players he has at his disposal. There had been rumours that Wenger was looking at bringing back Cesc Fabregas to the Emirates stadium in order to fill the void vacated by Cazorla.

Cazorla is expected to be out for a further three months to recover from surgery that he will have on a troublesome ankle injury. The absence of the Spaniard has made many Arsenal fans worry that the team lacks creativity in the centre of the park but Wenger appears happy with the likes of Aaron Ramsey, Granit Xhaka, Francis Coquelin and Mohamed Elneny filling the gaps.
