Reported Arsenal target Alexandre Lacazette will decide his future at the end of the season.

The French striker was close to leaving Lyon over the summer after strong interest from both Arsenal and West Ham.

However, approaches from the Premier League duo were knocked back by the Ligue 1 outfit as they failed to meet the valuation of the player.

But Arsenal and West Ham, along with potentially other suitors, could revive their interest in the 25-year-old next summer after revealing he will evaluate his options when the season comes to an end:

According to Le Progres, As reported by talkSPORT, the Frenchman said:

‘We will see next June what presents itself and what will offer us the best.

‘Loads of names of great clubs have circulated and that makes me happy. I will have to think. This summer, there were some very interesting offers.

‘But the president, for the good of the club, said no. And I understand that. It might be the opposite in the future.

‘He will understand that an offer could be important for the club. I am happy at Lyon. We will see this summer.’

Arsene Wenger isn’t expected to sign a striker this January, having done so over the summer by bringing in Lucas Perez from Deportivo La Coruna. The Frenchman also has Olivier Giroud as back-up to Alexis Sanchez in centre-forward position.

However, things could be different come the end of the season, especially if Giroud, or even Sanchez, decide to leave the club.
