Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour expects Arsenal pair Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez to have a field day if Manchester City defend like they did against Leicester City last weekend.

The Gunners face Pep Guardiola’s men at the Etihad stadium on Sunday afternoon, and Parlour told Sky Sports (via the Daily Express) that he feels both players have the ability to get in between the lines of City’s vulnerable defence:

‘If they can go to City at the Etihad and get a result, at the moment the way they’re conceding goals, I think Sanchez and Ozil could have a field day. The positions they get in could hurt Man City’s back line. I think there will be belief then with the fans and the players.’

Before City, Arsene Wenger and his team will line up against Everton tonight in another difficult away game at Goodison Park. The Toffees have been struggling in recent matches and have lost their last four away matches. They are however stronger at home with three and four draws in seven league games so far this season.

Ronald Koeman’s side will however face an Arsenal team who haven’t lost away in any competition since March when they were beaten by Barcelona in the Champions League.
