Arsenal have been scouting Inter Milan centre back Yao Guy-Eloge-Koffi in recent months, reports in Italy suggest.
The Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via stileinter.it) say that Inter’s owners the Suning Group are looking to offload a number of players including Yao and former Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic. The Gunners are said to have kept a keen eye on the defender and could make a January move for the player.
Yao spent last season out on loan in Serie B with Crotone. The Ivorian played a key role as the Italian side got promoted to Serie A and he played in 33 matches in all competitions for the club.
The 20-year-old was believed to be on the verge of joining Mario Balotelli at Nice in the summer but the move failed to materialise. Inter are however open to a move in the January transfer window with Crotone once again a possible destination, while moves to Pescara and the Gunners have also been mooted.
