Arsenal to battle six clubs for France Under-19 ace

|

Arsenal are among a horde of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe.

The 17-year-old striker is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in France and has been likened to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and former Monaco star Anthony Martial.

The Daily Mirror (via HITC) claim Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit of Mbappe, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and West Ham also keen on the teenager.

It’s believed Mbappe, who can play anywhere along the front three but prefers the left flank, could cost in the excess of £20 million and has two-and-a-half years left to run on his Monaco contract.

Mbappe has made 11 appearances so far for the French club, eight in Ligue 1 and a further three in the Champions League, and has found the back of the net three times.

Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also thought to be interested in the France Uner-19 international.
