Arsenal have made initial contact with FC Crotone goalkeeper Aniello Viscovo about the possibility of moving to the Emirates stadium, according to Tuttomercatoweb.com.
The Italian website report that Viscovo impressed Arsenal scouts at the end of last season in a string of performances for the Italian club’s youth side.
The 17-year-old has been included on the bench for a couple of Serie A matches this season but he has yet to make his senior debut for Crotone.
Viscovo’s current contract expires in the summer but as he has not yet turned 18, and therefore can’t sign a professional deal, the Gunners are free to talk to the player without needing permission from Crotone first.
The Italian has yet to be capped at any level by Italy but he has been a regular starter for Crotone in the Campionato Primavera, which is the under 19 age group level competition in the country.
