Arsenal’s fine run of winning games came to halt this weekend as Middlesbrough came to the Emirates and took a point off of the Gunners.
In all honesty, it was what the Teeside club deserved after the London side saw them come close on a number of occasions to causing a big upset whilst the Emirates men found an inspired Victor Valdes in front of them.
Arsenal looked slightly tired, too, with some of their players seemingly jaded from the mid-week game against Ludogorets in the Champions League and in essence it was a performance that just lacked a little bit of the intensity we’ve seen from the side so far this season.
Nevertheless, a point could be crucial come the end of the season in what’s shaping up to be one of the tightest title races in recent memory but with that said, the Gunners also need all of their players to perform to their maximum as much as possible.
