According to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercarto Arsenal are interested in AC Milan forward M’Baye Niang who has had a strong start to the season this year.
He has scored three goals and set up a further three goals in Serie A this season with the Milan side looking to return to the upper levels of the division after a few years of struggling.
Arsene Wenger could move for him as early as January though a deal in next summer’s window could be more likely as the Frenchman looks to add to his options at the top of the pitch.
Lucas Perez was signed during the last window as another attacking signing but he so far has found playing time limited whilst regular striker Olivier Giroud has also struggled to make and impact so far this season.
That has left the Gunners to play Alexis Sanchez through the middle and whilst he has done well so far, it seems as though Wenger would like another striker in his ranks.
