Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is worried about the injury problems that Aaron Ramsey is enduring and will only risk the Welsh midfielder once he is 100 per cent fit, according to The Sun.
The Gunners midfielder starred at Euro 2016 for his country, helping Chris Coleman’s men make the semi-finals, but was immediately injured as he return to club duty for the opening Premier League game of the season against Liverpool.
Ramsey has proven himself over the years as one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the Premier League when fit and firing but the former Cardiff City man has struggled to build consistency due to debilitating knocks.
The latest report on the new injury suggests that Wenger is concerned about a reoccurrence of the ailment if he drops the midfielder back into action too quickly and as such it could be some time before Ramsey features for Arsenal again.
The 25-year-old missed out on the Gunners’ 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest in midweek and will not play a part in the North London club’s Premier League clash with Chelsea on Saturday.
