Arsenal have stated on their official Twitter page that winger Theo Walcott did not feature for the Gunners at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night because he has picked up a knee injury.
The England international struggled for regular time on the pitch last season and was left out of the Three Lions’ Euro 2016 squad as a result.
However, Walcott has been given a chance to feature in a wide role on the right of Arsenal’s team this season as Aaron Ramsey has been on the sidelines with injury.
However, the former Southampton prodigy was conspicuous by his absence at the Parc des Princes for the midweek Champions League clash, as Alex Iwobi played in his place.

As can be seen above, Walcott was robbed of the chance to build a bit of consistency and feature in the French capital as he has picked up a slight knee injury.
The Englishman will hope to recover sufficiently to stake a claim for a starting berth in the North London side this weekend, as Arsene Wenger’s men head to the KCOM Stadium for a clash with newly promoted Hull City in the Premier League.
