Arsenal receive big boost ahead of PSG clash

|

Arsenal have received a piece of positive news for the treatment table as Laurent Koscielny looks set to feature against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Tuesday night, according to ESPN.

The France international centre-half has had an impressive start to the new season and has become a crucial member of Arsene Wenger’s team.

However, Koscielny was hurt in the last-gasp 2-1 win over Southampton at the weekend after being kicked in the face.

He received facial damage and his eye was badly swollen after the game at the Emirates Stadium.

The French enforcer was being touted as a doubt for the important Group A clash at the Parc des Princes, but the latest report suggests that the defender trained as usual on Monday.

Koscielny’s partnership with new signing Shkodran Mustafi promises to be an influential and integral part of the club’s chances of winning major silverware in 2016-17.
