The summer transfer window closes next week, but Arsenal still have some shopping to do – particularly in regards to a new centre-forward.

Last season, Danny Welbeck, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud produced just 25 Premier League goals between them – an underwhelming return for the strike-force of a club who are meant to be competing for the English title. Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane bagged that many on his own.

The north London club have been on the lookout for added firepower this summer but seemingly fallen short in their pursuits, such as Lyon rejecting a bid for their star front-man Alexandre Lacazette.

The Gunners’ slow start to the season, losing 4-3 to Liverpool and drawing with reigning champions Leicester City, has only exacerbated concerns amongst the Emirates faithful.

But don’t panic just yet, because there’s still over a week before the summer window slams shut. And with that in mind, Gunnersphere have taken a look at five last-minute strikers Arsene Wenger should consider signing.
