Arsenal’s summer spending may well not be over just yet, as Tutto Mercato Web have stated that the North London club have made a €13million (£11.1 million) offer for Paraguayan midfielder Miguel Almiron.

The Gunners are set to announce the double capture of Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez imminently, with the La Liga pair passing medicals at the North London club.

The pair will join fellow new recruits Granit Xhaka and Rob Holding in the Arsenal first-team squad, as the Emirates Stadium outfit look to fight for major silverware this season.

Almiron is on the books of Argentine club Lanus, moving to the South American nation last summer after an impressive season with Cerro Porteno in his homeland.

The 22-year-old is a Paraguay international and is able to play in attacking midfield or on the wing.

The report suggests that Almiron may well struggle to get a work permit to play for Arsenal and as such if the Gunners do land the midfield ace, a loan stint at a European side may well be necessary first.
