Arsenal are fuming with Premier League rivals Manchester City as their reported interest in right-back Hector Bellerin is said to have unsettled the progressive star, The Mirror report.
The Spain international moved to North London from childhood club Barcelona and has progressed through the ranks at the Emirates Stadium.
Initially signed as a winger, Bellerin has been transformed into one of the best full-backs in the English game by Arsene Wenger and the coaching staff at Arsenal.
Newly appointed City manager Pep Guardiola is said to be a fan of his compatriot and made an inquiry to gauge the starlet’s availability earlier this summer.
However, despite Arsenal stating that Bellerin was not for sale at any price, the speculation is said to be playing on the defender’s mind.
City have signed a host of players from Arsenal in the past, including Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Samir Nasri, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna.
