David OspinaArsene Wenger may well have to recruit a new goalkeeper this summer, with reports suggesting David Ospina is ready to leave Arsenal during the transfer window.

The 27-year-old played second fiddle to Petr Cech for the majority of last season, with the Colombian shot-stopper making just four Premier League starts and a further eight in cup competitions.

Ospina has apparently made it clear to Wenger that he wants out of Arsenal and is seeking out a new club, and Besiktas are ready to offer him a route out.

The Turkish giants wanted to sign Ospina last summer and are believed to preparing a £3 million bid for him.

Ospina had received offers in the past from Everton and several clubs in France but decided to stay put, but it seems likely that he will departing the Emirates this time around. Should he do so, Wenger may have to sound out a new goalkeeper to compete with Cech for the number one spot, with Wojciech Szczesny, who spent the entirety of last season out on loan to Roma, enjoying his time in Italy and has heavily hinted on staying put rather than warming the bench at Arsenal next season.
