Kieran TierneyArsenal are being linked with a move for Celtic starlet Kieran Tierney, with the Daily Star claiming they are in contention with Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United for the defender’s signature.

The 18-year-old has had an impressive season for Celtic this season, cementing a place in Ronny Delia’s starting line-up by making 21 starts for the Sottish side.

The left-back, who can also play higher up the same flank, has attracted the interest of a string of Premier League clubs and it is expected, according to reports that Celtic may struggle to keep hold of one of their prized assets this summer.

Although Tierney still has three-years left on his current contract at Celtic Park, the lure of the Premier League for the youngster could be hard to turn down, and Celtic may have no choice but to sell should they receive an offer to good to turn down at the end of the season.

Arsene Wenger may look to recruit a new left-back this summer, with Kieran Gibbs a reported target for Newcastle.

The question is, is Tierney the right player to potentially replace Gibbs at Arsenal?
