Alexis Sanchez is on the shopping list of incoming Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, according to The Sun.
The 27-year-old worked under Guardiola at Barcelona before making the switch to Arsenal, and the former Catalan and Bayern manager is eyeing up a reunion with the Chilean this summer.
Reports have suggested a rift between Sanchez and Arsene Wenger in recent weeks, but it’s all believed to be paper talk.
Sanchez has also been linked with a few other European sides already, such as Juventus, but former Chile international Ivan Zamorano believes his fellow countryman looks happier than ever at Arsenal.
However, Guardiola is set to test Arsenal’s resolve when the summer transfer window opens.
Undoubtedly the Gunners will be reluctant to sell one of their prized assets this summer, and reports suggest they are ready to tie him down to a new three-year deal before the new season kicks-off.
Sanchez netted 17 goals in 41 total appearances for Arsenal this season.
