Will we see him in an Arsenal shirt again?

RosickyTomas Rosciky made his first appearance of the season last weekend against Burnley in the FA Cup, coming on for Alex Iwobi in the latter stages of the game.

However, the 35-year-old unfortunately suffered a thigh strain during the game and was forced off the pitch.

The recent injury is believed to have now ruled him out of action for the next three months, leaving many to suggest that the ageing midfielder has played his last game for Arsenal, mainly due to the fact that he is out of contract at the end of the season with no new deal in the horizon.

But Rosicky has vowed to come back stronger than ever on the back of his latest set-back:

‘I’ve always come back from everything and I will come back again, I will not give up. I will make it happen once more, I will have the strength to make it, I will find it and I will be back again.’

Three months from now the season will be drawing to an end, if not concluded. Rosicky is due back in May, if all goes according to plan, but will he really feature again for the Gunners? Or have we seen the Czech playmaker for the last time in an Arsenal shirt?

I believe we have seen the last of Rosicky at Arsenal and should he recover before the season ends, I still believe he would struggle to get a game – especially with others expected to be fit and available during the time he is out recuperating.
