Arsene Wenger will be eyeing up all three points when Arsenal take on Leicester City this afternoon, but the Frenchman will also be having a closer look at N’Golo Kante.
According to the Sunday Mirror, Wenger has instructed his scouts to keep tabs on the 24-year-old.
It’s understood that if Wenger likes what he sees then he could be prompted to make a move for the tireless midfielder over the summer period.
Signed from Caen last summer for a reported £5.6 million, Kante has quickly risen to prominence with his robust displays in midfield for Leicester City and will surely draw interest from a number of top European clubs when the summer transfer window opens.
Kante’s work-rate has been second to none this season for the Foxes and was the first player in the Premier League to reach the 100 tackles milestone this season.
Although Kante is primarily known for his tireless displays, the Paris-born midfielder also has some ingenuity about him and can pick out a pass.
