It was a good away win for Arsenal in the Premier League against Bournemouth, halting a run of matches without victory and ensuring that Arsene Wenger’s men stay in touch at the top of the league. While they were unable to kill the Cherries off, Petr Cech kept them out and earned a clean sheet in a two-nil victory. The Ox even scored so you might want to use your Winner Casino No Deposit Bonus too, given the rarity of that occurrence.

Here are my Arsenal player ratings from today’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth:

Petr Cech – Made a couple of decent saves but wasn’t really threatened today. 6/10

Hector Bellerin – Did well getting forward and defended adequately. Made a vital tackle in the first-half. 5.5/10

Laurent Koscielny – Not the greatest of performances by the Frenchman, but did what he had to do. 5.5/10

Gabriel – Was caught out on a few occasions, one in particular that could have ended with a Bournemouth goal, but composed himself in the second-half. 5/10

Nacho Monreal – Offered another attacking option down the left flank but was fruitless in his efforts. Not bad defending but could have been better. 5/10

Mathieu Flamini – Could have seen red early on after committing a double footed challenge on Dan Gosling. Besides that, the Frenchman protected the back four admirably and kept things simple. 5.5/10

Aaron Ramsey – Was influential in both of Arsenal’s goals today, one of which he set-up, and was tireless throughout. Could have bagged a late goal as well – Man of the Match for me. 7/10

Mesut Ozil – Banged in Arsenal’s first with a ferocious shot from about the 12-yard mark and kept the ball well. 6/10

Alexis Sanchez – Posed a threat with his pace and always looked to get behind Bournemouth’s defence. Had a decent effort saved. 5.5/10

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Looked sluggish early on, misplacing a few passes, but slotted home Arsenal’s second to give them a comfortable lead. 6/10

Olivier Giroud – set-up Ozil’s goal with a lovely weighted header and held the ball up well throughout. Wasn’t his best game, but did ok. 5.5/10

SUBS:

Francis Coquelin – on for The Ox in the 67th minute. Brought on to protect the 2-0 margin and did so. 5/10

Kieran Gibbs – on for Sanchez in the 82nd minute. Like Coquelin, was brought on to give the team more defensive cover. N/A

Theo Walcott – on for Giroud in the 93rd minute, didn’t touch the ball. N/A
