David OspinaArsene Wenger will allow David Ospina to leave the club this month.

The £10 million arrival of Petr Cech last summer has left Ospina watching from the sidelines for the majority of the season, making just three appearances for the club thus far.

Poor displays in the Champions League against Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiacos saw Wenger drop the former Nice goalkeeper, and has not appeared for the Gunners since.

And with the return of Wojciech Szczesny from Roma in the offing, it would potentially mean that Ospina is likely to see even less action in the New Year.

According to reports in Spain, as reported by the Daily Express, Wenger will now allow the 27-year-old to leave during the current transfer window, if there is a club willing to take him.

Besiktas did show some interest in the Ospina a few weeks back and could now re-ignite their interest in the Colombia international.

But it is expected that Arsenal will receive some interest from clubs in France, and even Everton could once again express their keenness in him.

Wenger has already stated that he will busy this month and could have a new goalkeeper in his sights. Should he manage to do so, then Ospina could well depart the club during the January transfer window.
