Javier HernandezJavier Hernandez has not ruled out the possibility of leaving Bayer Leverkusen, amid reported interest from Arsenal.

Since his departure from Manchester United last summer, the Mexico international, 27, has hit the ground running for Bayer Leverkusen, netting 19 goals in 24 matches for the German club so far this season.

His impressive form has supposedly caught the eye of Arsene Wenger, and even Alexis Sanchez has allegedly told the Frenchman to bring Hernandez to the Emirates.

However, since Hernandez has played for two teams already this season, the Mexican cannot join another until the current campaign concludes.

And although he only signed for Bayer Leverkusen last summer, Hernandez has hinted that a summer move could be on the cards.

Speaking about his future, Chicharito said:

‘We’ll see you never know what happens.

‘I’m glad and happy to be part of this great club. In this sport, it does not matter whether you sign a contract for ten years or ten times prolong by one year. In six months, everything can again be different.’

It does seem highly unlikely that Wenger will look to bring a forward in this month, with Sanchez set to return from his injury and Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott also available.

But a summer move for Hernandez could be on, but the Gunners may have to shell out a substantial fee for the striker’s services, given he will still have two-years left to run on his Leverkusen deal after the season ends.
