Gunners ready to test PSG’s resolve with £15M bid

|

Adrien RabiotArsene Wenger has admitted that he will be busy this month in order for his Arsenal side to continue their push for the Premier League title this season.

It is believed the Gunners are on the brink of signing Mohamed Elneny from Basel for a reported fee of £7.4 million, while other reports claim the Frenchman is already eyeing up his next move, Anderlecht winger Andy Najar.

Well it seems Wenger wasn’t telling any fibs as reports in France now suggests he is preparing a £15 million swoop for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

The 20-year-old previously stated that he wants a loan move away from the French club this month, which has surprisingly annoyed PSG fans and not gone down well with manager Laurent Blanc, who reckons the youngster is not showing the club any ‘respect’.

Rabiot’s current unhappiness has alerted several clubs around Europe, including Arsenal, who are indeed looking to strengthen their midfield this month.

French Publication Buzz Sport claim PSG will now give in to the player’s demands but would not consider any bids under £14.7 million.

However, with Inter Milan understood to be keen in the French youngster, a bidding war could ensue, leaving Wenger possibly paying substantially more than originally quoted by PSG.
