Gedion ZelalemRangers looked set to sign Gedion Zelalem on a season-long loan from Arsenal, but the 18-year-old is now appears to be mulling over the options available to him this summer.

The highly-rated midfielder arrived in Glasgow yesterday to talk to Rangers manager Mark Warburton at the Scottish club’s training club Murray Park over a summer move.

Zelalem has since returned to London with his father to consider Rangers’ offer.

But the American wonderkid is also pondering other loan offers from Championships sides Fulham, Charlton, Birmingham City, and must now decide which club would be best for his development.

Arsene Wenger has already given Zelalem his blessing to join Rangers for at least six months, but it will be up to the player himself to make the final call on where he wants to gain first-team experience.

So, which club should Zelalem join this summer – Rangers, Fulham, Charlton or Birmingham City?

Personally, a move to either one of the three Championships sides interested would be ideal for Zelalem.

Rangers may boasts finer facilities than the Championship trio but the Scottish second tier isn’t exactly renowned for its competitiveness, and for this reason alone, I believe joining either Fulham, Charlton or Birmingham City would be his best move this summer.
