So apparently, according to Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli, Karim Benzema is set to join Arsenal NEXT WEEK.
The Real Madrid forward has been linked continuously with a move to the Emirates this summer, and Giulianelli has been updating the Arsenal faithful on the club’s potential deal for the 27-year-old using his Twitter account.
Real are supposedly ready to let Benzema leave after receiving a £45 million bid from Arsenal, which, Giulianelli reckons has been accepted by the La Liga club, and the Frenchman is poised to take the no.9 shirt next week.
These are the tweets the Italian sent out on his Twitter last night.
At 9.24pm, he wrote:
Benzema is coming. #Arsenal #KB9.
A few minutes later, Giulianelli got a response by @es_yeon saying:
@EmaGiulianelli when? soon is not the answer!
To which Giulianelli replied at 9.33pm:
@es_yeon next week for what I know.
We will remain sceptical about this, however, as we have been told by several sources already this summer that the Benzema was done or near completion. So many of us will not be elated to hear what Giulianelli has had to say on the matter, until we see it actually come to fruition.
I hope the Italian is a reliable source and we do see Benzema arrive at the Emirates next week, but I’m not holding my breath.

Benzema would be a great signing for arsenal, he ticks all theright boxes for arsenal espec playing with ozil at real madrid, arsenal and arsene wenger should pay for pedro aswell £22 million buy out clause is a steal, for a good winger /striker and please if anyone agrees always play kieran gibbs before monreal he sucks ,and as for midfield ross barkley etc someone young and solid ,and gabriel should be on ever game why pay all the money to watch from the bench ,great talent theo walcott and he should be our main striiker till we get one to partner him if we fail in benzema theres psg cavani or muller from bayern ,but whatever happens come on arteta,flamini ? Realisticly guys i love arsenal and we could get plenty talent to come but arsene has to sign 3 or 4 to keep us as contenders, come on you gunners …….
Oseni Lukman’s comments are way out. I don’t know his credentials as a manager, but I believe he lacks the ability to lead any team. If Benzema finally comes then lets hope he performs the magic to get us the epl title. Gud luck goooners.
My prayer is that the Italian journalist there should not continue deceiving Arsenal fans about the same roumer everyday. let him prove to us that he is the reliable source we can trust. let the deal go through!
I dnt tink u know wat u saying……..arsene should play Gibbs instead of monreal,dats a problems cos monreal speaking of d devil is in-form right now so let gibbs be a bench warmer 4 now nd 4 a striker I just need dotmund striker
Monreal is that good his contract isnt getting renewed and he will be back in spain nxt year to ath bilbao, gibbs is way better than monreal ,hes way faster up and down the flanks of left back ,better defender full stop, wait till hees 100% fit ,and trust me i know what im saying, but each to there own ogabjay.
