Would you swap Cazorla for this La Liga wizard?

Atletico Madrid want to sign Santi Cazorla, as the La Liga club prepare to lose Arda Turan this summer.

Cazorla only has one-year left on his current deal at the Emirates and has, for the third summer in a row, been heavily linked with a move to the Vicente Calderon to replace Turan, who is expected to depart.

Cazorla was considered by many as Arsenal’s best player last season and has been highly influential in Arsene Wenger’s midfield, helping the club win the FA Cup back-to-back.

However, despite claiming he was happy at Arsenal, the 30-year-ol may now consider a return to Spain, knowing he only has a year left on his contract and that Arsene Wenger is keen to bolster his midfield options ahead of the new season.

Wenger has already suggested that it will take an ‘astronomical’ offer for Arsenal to consider the sale of Cazorla this summer, and Atletico may have a proposal that could match what the Frenchman wants – swapping Turan for the Spanish maestro.

The Turkey international has previously been linked with a move to the Premier League and could be offered as part of a deal that sees Cazorla make the switch to Atleti, according to the Telegraph.

It seemed Turan had agreed to move to Barcelona, but the 28-year-old quickly dismissed these claims on his Twitter account, insisting it was incorrect information printed by the press and that he is on holiday resting, thus sparking talk that he could well be on his way to the Emirates this summer.

So, Wenger wanted an ‘astronomical’ offer, and it seems he could get one if reports are to be believed. With that said, would you swap Cazorla for Turan this summer?

This is a tough one, but I would certainly contemplate it as I have been an admirer of Turan for several years now.
