RosickySparta Prague are interested in re-signing Tomas Rosicky from Arsenal this summer, according to Daniel Kretinsky.

The 34-year-old spent three seasons at his hometown club before joining Dortmund in 2001 and then Arsenal nine years ago.

And although Rosicky signed a one-year contract extension with the Gunners last month, the Czech midfield technician has revealed his frustration at the lack of action coming his way, hinting he could be open to a move away from the Emirates in search of more first-team football.

Bayern Munich were reportedly keen on Rosicky last summer, but he opted to remain at Arsenal. But now Sparta Prague are interested in the playmaker’s services and the club’s majority shareholder Kretinsky insists they would jump at the chance to welcome back Rosicky this summer:

‘I’d love him to come and for it to happen soon.

‘But I don’t want to put uncomfortable pressure on Tomas. It’s up to him, I understand that leaving Arsenal isn’t easy.’

Although loved by the Arsenal faithful, Rosicky is clearly overlooked by Arsene Wenger these days – his seven starts in all competitions last season is evidence of this – and with the Frenchman looking to bolster his squad ahead of the new campaign, the Czech midfielder will find it difficult to feature regularly for us, if he manages to bring in new recruits.

He’s not going to get what he wants at Arsenal, so the club might as well move him on.

He is the best Arsenal example how we play football. Little Mozart beautiful passing game with high intensity how attacking play should look like. He was injured most of the time in his Arsenal carrier but Wenger show him patience and keep him when we are consider him as 2nd Diaby but he is back and shown doubters wrong since then. Clearly he will be missed if he leaves.
